  We went to this IHOP location for my friend's birthday (yes, we went on the day of her birthday, she was so excited we went right at midnight for her). My friend started by saying, "it's my birthday!" and the server interrupted and said, "we're not giving out free birthday milkshakes." We clarified that she wanted the free birthday pancakes and the server said we "had to have a print out" of a "birthday coupon" from IHOP. The IHOP website and app say if you sign up on your birthday, you get pancakes for your birthday for free. We explained that to the server, the server took my friend's phone and said she didn't see it. My friend showed her, the server said she was wrong, so we asked for the manager. The manager came out and said we needed a print out for the birthday deal, we explained what the website and app said, and he said, "how am I suppose to know this is her phone"...😳...he made us feel like we were begging and lying for pancakes when we were just there for a promotion IHOP supposedly offers. And after all of that, the server continued with an attitude, wouldn't give us water, so a different server got water for us. This IHOP and that experience wasn't worth it for pancakes we ended up paying for in the end.

  I should have ordered breakfast and it would probably received 5 stars for that but it was 930 pm and I was having breakfast at the hotel the next morning about 630 am so I ordered a burger and fries instead. The fries were very good ,hot and fresh,crispy, the burger was hot and fresh but a little bland. However, it's what one can expect for a burger from a ihop, waffle house, shoneys, it was decent, just know you won't get a gourmet burger. The place was clean and the staff very friendly, so I give that a 5, breakfast would have been a 5 I'm sure, it is their specialty of course and it's hard to screw up breakfast after all. They definitely get a 5+ for having their own parking lot. I don't even mind feeding a meter but it's as hard to find one available as it is to finding a honest politician in DC.

  Best ihop I've ever had. Fresh coffee perfect eggs excellent service. Lauren C is the best.

  Super busy, floor plan makes servers receive food across from to the front entrance. Narrow walk way for customers to pass by servers with food. Not hygenic. Waited 35 minutes for simple order for four. Milk shake was soupy and not cold. Don't know what happened to make things so bogged down.

  Excellent Fast and Friendly Service! Delicious Food! My wife and I recieved the absolute Best Service that we have Ever Received at an IHOP Restaurant! Our Waiter was very friendly and his service was very quick! The Manager of this IHOP is also very friendly and helpful to his customers! My wife and I look forward to coming back to this IHOP the next time we are in the Ballston area of Arlington VA!
